About Undefined

Undefined started back in 2019 as a college radio show at Stetson University. I was a digital arts major with a communications minor, and from the first day I toured the school and found out they had a radio station, I knew that was what I wanted to do. As soon as I enrolled, I made it happen.

At first, the show was just a way to play my favorite songs and share them with friends and other students. Over time, it grew into something much more. It became a space where I could play all kinds of music, no matter the genre. Rock, jazz, pop, country, alternative, and everything in between. I started reaching out to some of the musicians and creatives I admired the most, and I ended up having some of the most thought-provoking and fun conversations of my life.

This site is a home for those interviews and for my writing. On this blog, you’ll find concert reflections, album reviews, personal stories, and essays about how music and media help me navigate the world. I’m autistic and also live with anxiety and OCD. This space has become a way for me to process life, celebrate the art that moves me, and connect with others who feel the same.

Some of the people I’ve had the honor to interview include Billy Bob Thornton, Emmy-winning actor Bradley Whitford, John Flansburgh from They Might Be Giants, Scott Durbin from The Imagination Movers, Lachy and Murray from The Wiggles, and several members of Jason Isbell’s band, including Will Johnson, Sadler Vaden, and Anna Butterss. I’ve done all of the booking myself and have built Undefined with a lot of love, curiosity, and persistence.

I just finished my master’s in Integrated Marketing and Communications at Ole Miss in May, and I’m about to begin my PhD in Media and Communication at the University of Alabama in August.
